What is the role?

As a Senior Compliance Counsel, you will focus on ensuring EnduroSat's adherence to Export Control, Telecommunications, and Space regulations, while overseeing goods' movement through logistic pathways. Your primary responsibilities will include regulatory compliance, managing export-import activities, and ensuring all transactions meet legal standards. You will work closely with the Chief of Legal & Regulatory Compliance and national and international regulators to secure necessary approvals and maintain compliance with dual-use items and defense goods laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with Export Control, Telecommunications, and Space regulations.
  • Oversee the movement of goods, including import/export logistics, transportation, and storage, ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
  • Manage accurate and complete documentation for all import/export transactions.
  • Analyze external factors impacting regulatory compliance and provide strategic advice on compliance with export-import laws and certifications under Free Trade Agreements and Trade Preference Programs.
  • Maintain a list of exported dual-use and defense/military goods.
  • Work cooperatively with other departments to ensure compliance with the current restrictions and blacklists (UN, EU, USA, etc.).
  • Manage and maintain special customs regimes (Bonded Warehouse, Foreign/Free Trade Zone, Temporary Imports, etc.).
  • Collaborate with national and international regulatory bodies to ensure smooth compliance processes.

What Do We Look For?

  • Master’s degree in law with over 5 years of experience in compliance, preferably within IT, Telecommunications, Aerospace, Military, or defense sectors.
  • In-depth knowledge of Export Control regulations and experience in managing export-import logistics.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and ability to manage documentation for international trade.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while ensuring full legal compliance.
  • Experience in dealing with regulatory bodies and customs brokers.
