What is the role?

We are looking for a skilled Product Manager with experience in hardware products to join our team. In this crucial role, you will oversee the entire product lifecycle of our satellite systems—from strategic planning to tactical activities. You will collaborate closely with our CEO, CTO, and cross-functional teams to align product features with business goals, ensuring our products meet market needs and elevate customer satisfaction.

Some of your daily tasks will include:

• Defining and implementing product strategies that balance innovation with cost-efficiency, focusing on our hardware products
• Facilitating the gathering of requirements for hardware components to ensure they align with the overall product vision
• Engaging regularly with stakeholders, including engineering teams, to ensure clear and transparent communication regarding hardware and embedded software development
• Conducting thorough market analyses of hardware technologies that help shape product decisions and enhance sales support
• Overseeing the product development process for hardware to ensure it meets set timelines and maintains high-quality standards
• Managing strategic product launch plans for our hardware products to meet market demands and compliance requirements

What do you need?

• Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role in a technology-focused industry, specifically with spacecraft hardware products
• Strong understanding of product management tools and methodologies, including Agile frameworks 
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate between hardware, software, and business teams
• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Familiarity with embedded software development processes, hardware engineering principles, and systems integration
• Experience in the space industry or satellite technology is a plus
• Certification as a Scrum Product Owner or similar is highly advantageous
