What is the role?

At EnduroSat, a deep-tech satellite manufacturer based in Sofia, our missions run on clean, traceable, well-structured data. As our Jira Project Manager, you'll own the configuration, integrity, and intelligence of our Jira and Confluence environment—making sure it accurately reflects real work across satellites, payloads, and hardware programs. This is a hands-on administration and data-stewardship role: you keep the platform healthy, the backlog sharp, and the reporting trustworthy enough to drive executive decisions.

Some of your daily tasks will include:

Jira administration & configuration control

• Build and maintain fit-for-purpose projects, issue types, workflows, fields, screens, and schemes
• Manage roles, permissions, and access on a least-privilege basis with full auditability
• Design and evolve workflows and Automation for Jira rules to remove manual effort and reduce risk
• Enforce configuration control: change management, versioning, and disciplined governance of every schema change

Data quality & hygiene

• Run routine audits to catch missing assignees, due dates, labels, versions, links, and broken dependencies
• Enforce naming, versioning, and structural standards so every issue is traceable end to end
• Keep the single source of truth genuinely single—no orphaned issues, no drifting fields, no stale statuses

Backlog grooming

• Drive creation, refinement, and prioritization of backlogs across programs
• Uphold Definition of Ready / Definition of Done and clear acceptance criteria
• Partner with program and engineering leads to keep backlogs current, estimable, and aligned to mission timelines

AI-driven performance analytics

• Deliver executive-ready dashboards, JQL filters, and KPIs (cycle time, lead time, throughput, predictability)
• Build scheduled, AI-assisted reports that surface trends, bottlenecks, and risks before they hit the critical path
• Turn raw Jira data into decision-grade insight for leadership and program teams

Enablement & integrations

• Support teams with playbooks, coaching, and day-to-day tooling help
• Maintain integrations with Confluence, Git/CI/CD, Teams, and ERP/BI, and support migrations and data imports

What do we look for?

• 2–5+ years of hands-on Jira administration, ideally in aerospace/space tech or a regulated hardware environment
• Deep command of Jira Software, Confluence, Advanced Roadmaps, Automation for Jira, and strong JQL
• Proven track record in data quality, configuration control, and platform governance
• Solid grasp of Agile (Scrum/Kanban), release planning, and delivery metrics
• A data-driven mindset with genuine interest in analytics and AI-assisted reporting
• Clear, assertive communication and stakeholder management; bias for action
• Bonus: familiarity with nanosat/microsat systems, REST API, and basic scripting (SQL/Python)
