What is the role?
As a Technical Support Engineer for Satellite Systems at EnduroSat, you will play a critical role in assisting satellite development teams and customers by diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, providing guidance, and ensuring best practices for working with our satellite systems. You will be the primary point of contact through email and chat, handling complex technical cases and collaborating closely with software, hardware, and mechanical engineers to resolve them. Additionally, you will oversee customer returns and repairs, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication with customers.
Some of your daily tasks will include:
- Assisting satellite development teams by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving reported technical issues related to satellite systems
- Providing customer support through email, chat, and video conferences for complex issues or customer requests
- Collaborating with engineers across various disciplines to solve complex cases and provide the best solutions for our customers
- Managing the lifecycle of customer returns and repairs, coordinating with logistics and engineering teams, and ensuring regular updates to customers
- Reviewing customer-facing documentation, reporting inaccuracies, and contributing to the creation of knowledgebase articles to improve support efficiency and knowledge sharing

How to Stand Out:
- Familiarity with Python and/or C programming languages – this is not a code-heavy role but an understanding of concepts and tools will allow you to excel during communication with engineering teams
- Experience with Zendesk Suite
- Familiarity with basic RF terminology and concepts
- Familiarity with basic electrical engineering terminology and concepts
