What is the role?
As a Product Lifecycle Manager, you will be responsible for formalizing and establishing the streamlined process for product development from concept up to the approval phase. You will be in charge of ensuring the seamless operation of our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, focusing on maintaining product integrity and initiating automatic change management, review, and approval processes. This position is crucial to maintaining high standards of quality and compliance throughout the product's lifecycle and we are looking for someone experienced within the field.
Some of your daily tasks will include:
PLM System Management:- Introduce the PLM system with internal support and available procedures and templates
- Administer, configure, and maintain Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
- Ensure all product data is accurately recorded, updated, and accessible within the PLM system.
- Collaborate with IT and PLM vendors to resolve technical issues and implement system enhancements.
- Onboard and support engineers with the PLM space
- Oversee and manage the product change process to ensure changes adhere to company policies and compliance standards.
- Trigger and manage automatic review processes whenever a product component is changed, ensuring no lapse in quality or compliance.
- Develop and implement workflows for change requests and ensure timely resolution and approvals.
What do we look for?
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing end-to-end product lifecycle in a PLM environment
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree Preferably in Engineering, Business Administration, Product Management, or a related field. Any certifications in Project Management tools are appreciated
- Hands-on experience with PLM systems (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, Dassault Systèmes' ENOVIA) including configuration, administration, and maintenance
- Proven track record of introducing and integrating PLM systems within an organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey PLM processes to engineers and stakeholders.
- Leadership and capacity to drive organizational change and champion process improvements
