What is the role?

As a Systems Administrator, you will ensure the secure, reliable, and efficient operation of our Microsoft 365 ecosystem, identity platform, and cross-platform endpoints. You will administer Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Teams. You will manage identity and access with Active Directory and Entra ID and will oversee device management across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Linux. You will also support additional cloud apps, drive automation, optimize licensing, and resolve issues across L1–L3.

Some of your daily tasks will include:

  • Microsoft 365 administration: ensure operational health of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Teams; manage mail flow, transport rules, and anti-spam/phishing policies; administer site collections, storage quotas, and sharing settings; manage Teams policies for creation, meetings, and messaging, and potentially Teams Phone (call queues, auto attendants); oversee licensing allocation, usage monitoring, and reclamation; configure security features such as granular external sharing, DLP, and sensitivity labels
  • Identity and access management: manage on-prem Active Directory and hybrid Entra ID synchronization; design, implement, and enforce Conditional Access policies; uphold least-privilege access across users and services
  • Windows endpoint management: deploy devices via Autopilot (zero-touch provisioning); configure update rings for OS patching; package, deploy, and update applications; troubleshoot Windows endpoint issues
  • macOS endpoint management: create configuration profiles, policies, and app deployment; endpoint security, threat detection, and response; assist with macOS support and troubleshooting
  • Linux endpoint management: administer devices for configuration, policy enforcement, and app deployment; provide remote support and resolve technical issues
  • Cloud services and on‑prem infrastructure: administer Confluence/Jira, DocuSign, Google Admin (Chrome), and Edge; identify and implement automation to improve efficiency and consistency; manage on‑prem infrastructure including Windows servers, virtualization, networking, file servers; assist the team when needed to resolve L1, L2, and L3 help desk tickets with aim to automate, document and reduce them.
  • Security and compliance: implement best practices across platforms; maintain documentation, change records, and runbooks; collaborate with stakeholders to balance usability and security.

What do we look for?

  • Proven expertise with Windows Server, on‑prem infrastructure, and core networking services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Strong background in Active Directory and hybrid Azure/Entra ID administration and troubleshooting
  • Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve a wide range of help desk tickets from L1 to L3
  • Practical experience administering Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams) and managing licensing
  • Experience with Windows device management via Intune (Autopilot, update rings, app deployment)
  • Experience managing macOS with an MDM
  • Experience managing Linux endpoints (preferably Ubuntu) with an MDM
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and excellent communication and documentation

How to stand out:

  • Experience implementing and managing M365 security features including DLP, sensitivity labels, and granular external sharing policies
  • Familiarity with Teams Phone (call queues, auto attendants) and collaboration platform governance
  • Scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python) to streamline administration and reduce manual work
  • Experience administering Atlassian (Confluence/Jira), DocuSign, Google Admin (Chrome), and browser management (Edge)
  • Experience securing and managing on‑prem hardware such as file servers, meeting room devices, and printers
  • Any relevant certifications is an advantage
