What is the role?

We are looking for a reliable Senior Consolidation and Financial Analyst to join our team! The Senior Consolidation and Financial Analyst plays a key role in the financial reporting, consolidation, and analysis processes for the organization. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely consolidation of financial statements across multiple entities, performing variance analysis, supporting financial planning and reporting, and assisting with compliance related to accounting standards and regulations. The ideal candidate has strong experience in financial consolidation, IFRS, financial reporting, and data analysis

Some of your daily tasks will include:
 

• Lead the monthly and annual financial consolidation process across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and management reports in compliance with the IFRS.
• Work closely with the CFO, the Financial Controller, and subsidiaries to gather financial data, resolve discrepancies, and improve reporting efficiencies.
• Support external audits by preparing financial reports, schedules, and reconciliations.
• Perform financial statement analysis, including variances between actual vs. budgeted/forecasted results.
• Provide insights into financial performance trends and key business drivers.
• Assist in financial forecasting, budgeting, and strategic financial planning.
• Support management with ad-hoc financial reports and analysis to aid decision-making.
• Maintain and improve internal controls over the financial reporting and consolidation process.
• Identify and implement process improvements in financial consolidation, reporting, and analysis.
• Enhance automation within the financial consolidation and reporting process using ERP systems (Microsoft Business Central / NAV) and Excel-based models.

• 5+ years of relevant experience in financial consolidation, reporting, and analysis (preferably in a multinational or large corporate environment).
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS, understanding of financial statements, accounting procedures, and consolidation principles.
• Experience using ERP systems (knowledge in Microsoft Business Central / NAV is considered an advantage), advanced proficiency in MS Office and business intelligence tools.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex financial data.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of financial planning and analysis processes.
• BS or higher degree in Accounting or Finance.
