What is the role?
As an Antenna Design Engineer at EnduroSat, you will play a vital role in designing and developing advanced antennas for our satellite communication systems. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of hardware, software, and mechanical engineers, working on cutting-edge satellite communication technologies. Your work will involve designing patch antennas and arrays, identifying areas for improvement, and actively solving issues to enhance EnduroSat's products and services. You will also be responsible for preparing and maintaining comprehensive documentation throughout the development process.
Some of your daily tasks will include:
- Collaborating with hardware, software, and mechanical engineers to design patch antennas and antenna arrays for satellite communication systems.
- Identifying potential areas for improvement in antenna performance and proactively working on solutions.
- Conducting antenna design, simulation, and testing using EM design tools like ANSYS, and performing measurements with equipment such as VNAs and spectrum analyzers.
- Preparing and maintaining accurate and up-to-date design documentation, technical reports, and presentations.
- Ensuring that antenna designs are manufacturable by considering relevant manufacturing processes and constraints.
What do we look for?
- University degree in Radio Communications/ Electronics / Electrical Engineering or similar
- Theoretical and practical exposure of antenna and propagation
- 2 years of technical experience in the field of Microwave and mmWave antenna design and measurements
- Design experience in microstrip patch antennas and antenna arrays
- Hand-on experience with measurement equipment- VNA, Signal source, Spectrum Analyzer, etc.
- Experience working with EM/antenna design tools like ANSYS or other
- Good knowledge of manufacturing processes to ensure the design is manufacturable
- Design documentation, technical reports, and presentation as required
- Fluent English
