What is the role?

As a skilled guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) engineer you will join our AOCS team where you will play a crucial role in the GNC design, modeling, and analysis for our range of spacecraft and upcoming missions.

Some of your daily tasks will include:

  • Design, develop, and test GNC algorithms.
  • Conduct simulations and analysis to assess the performance of GNC systems under various mission scenarios.
  • Collaborate closely with the other engineering teams to integrate GNC solutions into the overall satellite designs.
  • Perform hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and Monte Carlo simulations.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of attitude determination and control systems.
  • Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting and resolving GNC-related issues during satellite development and operations.
  • Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure the integration of state-of-the-art GNC technologies.

What do we look for?

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in physics, aerospace or related engineering field.
  • 3+ years of work experience in GNC.
  • Software Development experience with C++ or Python.
  • Excellent knowledge and work experience with MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Knowledge of sensors, actuators, and hardware components used in satellite GNC systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, self-driven, and able to work with little supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Openness to knowledge sharing.
  • A quick learner, proactive, self-starter, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion about space!

How to Stand Out:

  • Familiarity with CubeSat standards and small satellite systems.
  • Experience with on-orbit operations and satellite mission planning.
