What is the role?

As a passionate and experienced Senior Front-End Developer with deep expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React you will join our innovative SpaceOps Platform team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing and enhancing our satellite mission operations tools, enabling a seamless user experience and robust functionality for our clients and mission operators.

Some of your daily tasks will include:

  • Utilize React and JavaScript/TypeScript to create and maintain responsive, user-friendly front-end components that prioritize user experience
  • Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, back-end developers, and product managers to deliver high-quality features that solve real-world problems and meet user needs
  • Analyze and optimize application performance to ensure maximum speed and scalability, delivering an exceptional experience to end-users
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while participating in code reviews and mentoring junior developers as needed
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and trends, actively researching and recommending tools and practices that improve our development processes

What do we look for?

  • Proven experience as a Software Developer, with a strong focus on JavaScript/TypeScript
  • In-depth knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and/or React
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with front-end components
  • Experience with back-end technologies, preferably Node.js/Java is a plus
  • Experience with cloud providers, especially AWS is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences in a fast-paced environment
