What is the role?

We are looking for a reliable Financial Controlling and Reporting Manager to join our team! As part of Financial Controlling and Reporting, you will be responsible for developing and implementing systems, policies and procedures for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information under IFRS, setting the right processes and developing robust controls.

Some of your daily tasks will include:

• Ensure quality control over business transactions and financial data
• Work closely with the subsidiaries and ensure timely delivery of their monthly reports, support them with their Local GAAP to IFRS reconciliation for the sake of the IFRS Consolidation of the Group
• Design, implement, test, monitor and improve internal controls in a lean way
• Define and keep up to date the Accounting Policies and Financial Reporting Procedures in conformity with IFRS and best financial reporting practices
• Lead month-end and year-end closing and monthly and annual IFRS consolidation process
• Lead the statutory financial Audits, both stand-alone and consolidated ones
• Make sure the non-statutory financial reporting (re: Management, Investors, Board, etc.) is aligned with and/or reconciled to IFRS and presents the financial data properly
• Monitor and analyze accounting and other financial data and produce ad-hoc reports
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Support budgeting and forecasting and assist with regular variance analysis in conjunction with FP&A
• Support, maintain and improve Financial Modelling of mid- to long-term financial projections (P&L, BS, CFS, WC, CAPEX, etc. with their Assumptions, Growth Drivers, KPIs, etc.)
• Help the Investor reporting and fund-raising process with financial data and reports
• Work closely with the CFO, Statutory Accounting, FP&A and Legal

What do we look for?

• 5-7 years of experience in the field of finance, financial controlling and financial reporting, preferably in an international environment
• Excellent computer skills in MS Office
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems is highly recommended
• Excellent knowledge and experience with accounting software and databases
• Deep expertise and practical experience with IFRS reporting compliance
• Good understanding of tax legislation
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Team player
• Good time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• BS or higher degree in Accounting or Finance
