About us

We are EnduroSat! A fast-growing space scale-up at the forefront of satellite innovation, specializing in advanced software-flexible satellites for commercial, governmental, and scientific endeavors.

  • This is more than a job, it’s a mission

We are making space universally accessible and redefining what's possible.

  • We get things done

We take ownership of what we do and we work hard to make a difference.

  • We are fearless

Transparency is our only way forward. We dare to address and resolve issues head-on.

  • We learn from our mistakes

We deliver, take informed risks, and evolve to achieve our goals. We compare with the best version of ourselves

What is the role?

EnduroSat designs and manufactures software-defined CubeSats, smallsats, and space-grade subsystems that fly in LEO, where a single undetected defect can end a mission. As Failure Analysis Engineer, you sit at the point where that risk is caught, understood, and eliminated.

Working inside the Product Assurance function, you own the technical investigation of hardware failures across our flight and ground products - from EEE component anomalies to board- and system-level faults. You isolate faults at the bench, determine root cause down to the designator and failure-mechanism level, and drive the corrective actions that stop the same failure from happening again. This is a hands-on, lab-and-bench role for an engineer who is energized by figuring out why something broke and making sure it never breaks the same way twice.

Some of your daily tasks will include:

  • Leading failure analysis investigations on electronic hardware (PCBA, EEE components, harnesses, mechanical interfaces) raised through the non-conformance (NCR) process
  • Performing fault isolation and diagnostics at the bench - signal tracing, in-circuit measurement, functional testing, and bring-up debugging on flight and engineering-model boards
  • Determining root cause to the level of the failing component or mechanism, distinguishing design, manufacturing, component, and process contributors
  • Defining, proposing, and verifying corrective and preventive actions
  • Using non-destructive and destructive analysis techniques as appropriate  to confirm failure mechanisms
  • Maintaining the failure analysis case record, trending recurring failure modes, and feeding lessons learned back into design rules, screening, and supplier requirements
  • Supporting supplier failure investigations and qualification activities, including review of component and PCB/PCBA quality issues

What do we look for?

  • Technical secondary education or higher in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in hardware debugging, failure analysis, test, or hardware design
  • Strong ability to read and interpret schematics, PCB layouts, data sheets, and BOMs, and to reason about circuit behavior down to the component level
  • Practical proficiency with bench instrumentation: oscilloscope, multimeter, power supply, logic analyzer, and similar diagnostic tools
  • A solid grasp of electronics manufacturing and assembly defects (soldering, components, PCB fabrication) and how they manifest as test or field failures
  • A structured, evidence-driven approach to problem solving and clear technical writing in English

How to stand out:

  • Experience with space, aerospace, defense, automotive, or other high-reliability hardware
  • Familiarity with ECSS and/or IPC standards (e.g. IPC-A-610, IPC-6012, ECSS-Q-ST series)
  • Hands-on experience with microscopy
