What is the role?As an Automation QA Engineer, you'll be responsible for the software testing efforts to guarantee top-notch performance and consistency across user interfaces and APIs. Your role will involve bug tracking, automation, and driving innovation to ensure product quality and readiness for release. With a focus on efficiency and precision, you'll play a vital part in shaping EnduroSat's space technology.
Some of your daily tasks will include:
- Performing automated and manual tests.
- Reviewing user interfaces and APIs for consistency and functionality.
- Identifying, isolating, and tracking bugs throughout testing.
- Defining test scenarios and cases and automating them.
- Driving innovation and streamlining overall testing processes.
- Research of new tools, technologies, and testing processes.
- Developing standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness.
- Academic degree in Computer science, Information Technology, or a comparable qualification through any relevant certification, portfolio, GitHub repositories, etc.
- More than 2 years experience as an Automation QA Engineer.
- Experience with BDD using Cucumber.
- Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases.
- Experience in Automation using Java with Selenium Webdriver.
- Experience with API testing.
- Good understanding of QA practices and project delivery lifecycle.
- Be open to knowledge-sharing
- Understand the importance of last-mile delivery
- Be a quick learner, proactive, self-starter
- Have excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
