What is the role?

The Engineering Manager will lead our hardware team focusing on our communication systems, related to our antennas and radios, crucial for the performance of our satellite missions. This role requires robust project management skills, in-depth knowledge of power systems, and proficiency in using Jira for managing tasks and ensuring efficient project execution. The ideal candidate is not a product owner but a delivery-focused, hands-on leader specializing in bringing projects to successful completion.

Some of your daily tasks will include:

• Leading a team of hardware engineers to design, develop, and optimize our Radio Frequency (RF) systems for satellite communications
• Managing the delivery of RF components, ensuring they meet all quality and regulatory requirements for space communication systems
• Providing technical guidance in RF design, testing, and integration with other satellite subsystems
• Utilizing project management tools, such as Jira, to monitor progress and track team performance

What do we look for?

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related fields
• 5+ years of experience in communication systems engineering, with a focus on satellite, aerospace, or automotive applications, and at least 2 years in a managerial role
• Strong understanding of RF design principles, testing, and validation methods
• Leadership experience, with excellent project management and collaborative skills
