What is the role?

As a skilled UI/UX Designer you will enrich our digital product suite with sleek, user-friendly interfaces. Our diverse suite of products spans sophisticated technologies that power satellite communications and operations, and your role will be crucial in making these technologies accessible and enjoyable for our users. With us, your designs won't just be seen—they will be shaping the future of space exploration and communication. Your focus will be on our UI Kits, Design Systems, and creating High Fidelity Pixel Perfect Prototypes. You will use your entire arsenal of skills, from wireframing to product, interaction, and visual design to build delightful experiences.

Some of your daily tasks will include:

• Work on new and existing UI kits, crafting components and functional designs in Figma
• Translate business requirements, user needs, and technical requirements into designs that are visually enticing, easy to use, and emotionally engaging
• Hand-off spec work to the development team and stay involved throughout the implementation process
• Review the implemented designs and collaborate with the development team on mistakes that need to be fixed
• Produce high-quality interactive prototypes for our products
• Execute all aspects of the design process from concept to asset creation
• Support development through design asset creation and bug-fixing
• Deliver thoughtful feedback in UX critiques
• Multitask and work in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing quality
• Submitting visual design concepts for brainstorming and approval on time

What do we look for?

• 2-3 years of industry experience using various design tools like Figma (or Sketch) for creating design systems, components, high-fidelity designs, prototypes, and hand-offs
• Ability to translate requirements into style guides, design systems, patterns, and reusable assets
• Understand interaction design best practices
• Research, Agile, and Front-End experiences are a plus
• Up to date with current design trends, constantly looking to learn and improve skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in EnglishExperience designing simple solutions to complex problems
