Product Assurance Engineer

• Ensure compliance with industry-specific standards, such as ECSS or NASA standards.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures specific to space product development.
• Take an active part in various projects regarding PA aspects.
• Identification and assessment of any critical materials and processes (M&P).
• Establish qualification plans for critical M&P and review of qualification results.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential issues and abnormalities affecting product quality, reliability, and safety of space products and support risk management activities throughout the project.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality of materials, components, modules, and subsystems.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to verify compliance with industry standards and EnduroSat requirements.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of quality processes, test results, and compliance records.
• Generate reports on quality metrics, non-conformances, and CAPA.
• Support configuration management activities to ensure proper control and documentation of changes to space systems.
• Support testing and inspections at various stages of the space system lifecycle, from R&D to integration and launch.
• Collaborate with internal and external testing facilities to perform environmental testing including vibration, thermal, vacuum, and radiation.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality, reliability, and performance of space systems.
• Provide support during launch campaigns and mission operations to address any quality or reliability concerns.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Real hands-on experience in space product assurance with a deep understanding of space systems and technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of space industry standards, such as ECSS, NASA, etc.
• Deep knowledge of space environment challenges and their impact on hardware and materials.
• A degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Hardware Engineering, or a related field.
