What is the role?We design and build exceptional satellites. EnduroSat is on a mission to transform the complex satellite industry into a streamlined data service, enabling instant access and transactions with space data on the cloud from hundreds of sensors in orbit. All made possible by unique satellite technology and our great engineering team. We are searching for more superhumans to join us in our mission to democratize access to space. Your core tasks will include the following:
- Ensure compliance with industry-specific standards, such as ECSS or NASA standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures specific to space product development.
- Take an active part in various projects regarding PA aspects.
- Identification and assessment of any critical materials and processes (M&P).
- Establish qualification plans for critical M&P and review of qualification results.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential issues and abnormalities affecting product quality, reliability, and safety of space products and support risk management activities throughout the project.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality of materials, components, modules, and subsystems.
- Conduct supplier audits and assessments to verify compliance with industry standards and EnduroSat requirements.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of quality processes, test results, and compliance records.
- Generate reports on quality metrics, non-conformances, and CAPA.
- Support configuration management activities to ensure proper control and documentation of changes to space systems.
- Support testing and inspections at various stages of the space system lifecycle, from R&D to integration and launch.
- Collaborate with internal and external testing facilities to perform environmental testing including vibration, thermal, vacuum, and radiation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality, reliability, and performance of space systems.
- Provide support during launch campaigns and mission operations to address any quality or reliability concerns.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Real hands-on experience in space product assurance with a deep understanding of space systems and technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of space industry standards, such as ECSS, NASA, etc.
- Deep knowledge of space environment challenges and their impact on hardware and materials.
- A degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Hardware Engineering, or a related field.
- Are open to knowledge-sharing
