What is the role?
As a Technician at EnduroSat, you will assist in assembling and integrating satellite systems, including structural, electrical, and propulsion components. You'll maintain and operate assembly tools and equipment, ensuring safety and quality standards. Working closely with engineers, you’ll support the seamless integration and testing of satellites, contributing to our mission to transform the satellite industry.
Some of your daily tasks will include:
- Maintain and operate assembly tooling, equipment, and instrumentation by safety guidelines and best practices.
- Assist in the assembly and integration of satellite systems, including structural components, electrical systems, propulsion systems, and payloads, under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Work closely with assembly engineers, design engineers, and test engineers to support the seamless integration and testing of satellite systems.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining quality control processes to ensure that all assembled satellites meet our rigorous quality standards.
What do we look for?
- Previous experience in a technical role, preferably in production and a fast-paced environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with assembly tools, equipment, and instrumentation.
- Familiarity with cleanroom procedures and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) control measures is preferred.
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
- An Engineering degree or relevant experience may be considered in place of formal education.
