What is the role?

We are looking for a reliable Senior Financial Planning and Analysis to join our team! As part of FP&A, you will be responsible for Business Partnering within Finance, leading the Budgeting, Forecasting and Management Reporting of the Group.

Some of your daily tasks will include:

• Understand the Company’s Business and its Sales, R&D, AIT and Delivery models, Revenue streams, Value creation and the associated Risk
• Define business drivers and KPIs for operational and financial efficiency in conjunction with Business and P&L Heads, fostering financial performance measurement and reporting, margin improvement and operational liquidity optimization
• Work closely with Business and P&L Owners to help them deliver their financial performance targets and be on top of their operational KPIs and value drivers, realizing efficiency gains, unlocking unrealized business potential and over-performance
• Define and maintain the Management Reporting structure, in close alignment with Strategic objectives and in conjunction with the Business owners
• Be Owner of the Budgeting process, defining its model, templates, deadlines, responsibilities and lead its execution in close alignment with the Company’s Strategy, Goals and Targets
• Be Owner of the Forecasting process, defining its model, templates, deadlines, responsibilities and lead its execution in close alignment with the Company’s Budget and Targets
• Prepares Management Reporting focused on the financial performance of the different business models, business lines and revenue streams
• Produce slice and dice reports on performance KPIs, business drivers and variance analysis of ACT vs BUD, Forecast and PY
• Apply Cost controlling, Cost vs Benefit analysis and provide economic rationale for key business spendings/investments to be budgeted
• Work constantly on “producing/delivering More by doing/using Less”
• Make sure the Current Trading and Projective data (Management Reporting, BUD, FC) is as accurate, complete, informative and IFRS compliant as possible
• Work closely with the CFO and Financial Controlling and Reporting

What do we look for?

• 5-7 years of experience in the field of FP&A, Management Accounting, Business/Commercial Controlling, Financial Controlling, preferably in an international environment
• ​​​​​​​Excellent computer skills in MS Office
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and Business Operations & Project Management tools is highly recommended
• Space/Aviation industry experience would be considered as advantageous
• Good understanding of financial accounting and reporting under IFRS, especially its Revenue recognition and R&D accounting concepts
• CIMA or similar Management Accounting certifications would be considered as a strong advantage
• Strong Business acumen and entrepreneurial mindset
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Good time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• BS or higher degree in Finance or Business/Economics
