What is the role?
As the Assembly, Integration, and Testing (AIT) Planner for EnduroSat, you will be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining the highly complex master schedule required to assemble and test the products of EnduroSat’s portfolio. Operating in a high-reliability, cleanroom environment, you will coordinate multidisciplinary tasks to ensure satellites, payloads, and hardware components hit strict milestones from Manufacturing to the final delivery to the Customer.
Collaboration with integration and systems engineering teams is essential to ensure optimal test coverage. Your expertise will also aid in implementing risk-reduction strategies and reliability improvements, significantly impacting our missions.
You will directly report to the Head of Products Delivery Operations, overviewing all the activities related to the products’ delivery. You’ll also closely work with the Supply Chain and the Quality Assurance teams.
Some of your daily tasks will include:
- Create and maintain detailed, resource-loaded AIT master schedules for spacecraft hardware builds, sub-system integrations, and test phases
- Define and optimize the logic for multidisciplinary task links, build flows, and consecutive testing windows
- Conduct routine critical path analyses and schedule variance checks to identify bottleneck risks before they impact the launch schedule
- Coordinate the allocation of personnel, test facilities (cleanrooms, TVAC chambers, vibration tables), and Ground Support Equipment (GSE)
- Align daily operations by interfacing with systems engineers, quality assurance, shop floor leads, and project managers
- Simulate "what-if" planning scenarios and build comprehensive recovery schedules when hardware anomalies or procurement delays occur
- Generate KPI trackers, progress dashboards, and schedule status updates for the C-level
What do you need?
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, or equivalent technical experience
- Minimum 2–5+ years of experience in a planning or scheduling role within aerospace, space tech, defense, or highly regulated hardware manufacturing
- Advanced, hands-on mastery of JIRA, Confluence, as well as enterprise scheduling tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, and ERP platforms
- Deep structural understanding of change management, configuration control, and spacecraft qualification steps
- Superior communication and negotiation skills to handle friction between aggressive timelines and strict mission-assurance standards
- Familiarity with nanosatellite/microsatellite systems is an advantage
