What is the role?  
As our Communications Lead, you’ll own our company messaging end-to-end—turning complex engineering into clear, factual, customer focused narrative across external and internal channels. You’ll partner closely with leadership as well as product, engineering & sales, keeping our messaging consistent, factual, and relevant to our customers 

Some of your daily tasks will include: 

• Define and formulate the communications plan: turn business priorities into a simple, rolling sequence of announcements and updates; select the few messages that matter most, their audiences, and the right channels 

• Build the information channels: create reliable ways to capture news from teams (launches, milestones, missions) through regular syncs and lightweight tooling; make it easy for colleagues to share input and for you to gather & verify facts fast 

• Write and edit with precision: deliver short, technically accurate copy in a minimalist, matter of fact, customer centric voice—press releases, articles, case studies, website news, and internal updates—maintaining style consistent and content evidence based 

• Media & PR: shape storylines aligned to our strategy and roadmap; build and maintain a focused media list; manage embargoes/exclusives and contributed pieces; track coverage quality (relevance, tier, accuracy) and report learnings; support speakers with calm, practical prep 

• Social: partner with the Digital Marketing Lead on topics, framing, and cadence for socials; keep copy clear and verifiable; measure what matters and iterate 

• Customer Success & Co-marketing: Work with Sales and Customer Success to produce testimonials, case studies, and co-marketing with customers and partners—establish simple approval paths and publish shared announcements when appropriate 

• Internal communications: keep colleagues aligned with concise updates on launches, events, visitor welcomes, and milestones (email/Teams/office screens) 

• Measure & improve: track a small set of indicators (coverage quality, message consistency, meaningful engagement, inbound interest); share what’s working, remove what isn’t, and update the plan 

What do we look for? 

• A track record in strategic communication for technical domains (B2B, deep tech, aerospace, or similar) 
• Writing samples that show minimalist, high signal storytelling across formats 
• Experience partnering directly with engineers and product teams to ensure accuracy without slowing them down 
• Strong media judgment and hands-on experience pitching and placing stories 
• Collaborative, calm under deadlines, and high editorial standards
