What is the role?
As an RF Test Automation Engineer at EnduroSat, you will play a critical role in ensuring our RF modules' premier performance and reliability. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated test systems that enhance our product functionalities.
Some of your daily tasks will include:
- Design and develop automated test systems for RF modules, including hardware and software components, to ensure product performance and reliability
- Oversee and maintain essential test equipment, such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and power meters
- Collaborate with the product design team to deeply understand the specifications of RF modules and establish appropriate test methodologies
- Create and manage detailed test plans, reports, procedures, and documentation for both prototype and full-scale production testing
- Conduct tests, analyze the results, and troubleshoot issues down to the component level to identify the root causes of failures
- Enhance test procedures and routines to increase efficiency, reduce equipment downtime, and improve test coverage
- Coordinate with manufacturing and quality assurance teams to smoothly transition test solutions from the research and development phase to production
What do we look for?
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in RF testing and automated test system design
- Strong understanding of RF principles, measurements, and testing techniques.
- Experience with test equipment programming and automation, preferably using Python, LabVIEW, or MATLAB
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience in PCB design and layout for test environments is a plus
